DARKNESS and LIGHT

Many people afraid of dark. Darkness is say as miserable, hopeless, and losing sight. Some say darkness simply means the presence of evil. But how true is it? Every one has a dark side in them. many try to be holy or excellency, but most people do good just to suppress the darkness inside them. They afraid to confront the darkness that lies within them. This is because they know when their dark side reveals, they will lose the title of "holiness", and will be condemned by society and religious.

On the other hand, light shows hope, joy, and sight. In most religions, the presence of light mean God(s) is there. It condemn darkness, as the Bible wrote, darkness hide from light. Religion makes people bias to light, not just because it pleasings but also the way religion give the status to light. People persuade it, and they pretend they are part of the people in it.

I'm agree that in light there is no darkness. However, without darkness you won't know what is light. Dark simply means a phenomena without the presence of light. Therefore when you in the mist of darkness, even a thin ray, you will be able to detect it. Not just you will able to see it, but it make a lot easier to find the source of light when you standing in the dark. So those who don't dare to confront their dark side within them are those people who I call "phony holiness". They seem as if they live in light but they never know the light. Only those who walk through the dark will know and appreciate light which once guide them the way out.
