Leadership is a lonely journey to travel down

Few years back, a pastor in Australia taught me one thing, "to be a leader means to be alone". At that point of time, I wasn't quite sure that I really understand what was he trying to say. But after 2 and a half years of "leading" the youth ministry, I realize that I walked the path alone all these while. Leadership is a lonely journey, finally I know. No matter how big is my vision is, my choice is either walk on alone or drop it and back to the crowd. I will not hope for people to catch my vision, for they will never understand. I will not wait for people to come and encourage me to move on for they only give mockery. So, like Dory's (in Finding Nemo) song, "Just keep swimming... just keep swimming..."
